Michelle Obama, former First Lady, is launching a new, healthy and family-friendly Netflix show called Waffles+Mochi. You can be sure that you will soon see some tasty (and nutritious!) food on your TV screen.
The show premiered on March 16th and features two adorable puppet characters who are on cokoladna torta a quest to learn everything they can about healthy eating under Obama’s direction. USA Today reports that they will be joined by a flying magic shopping cart.
Obama, who devoted her time at the White House between 2008 and 2016, to helping children in America live healthier lives, is now working with the Partnership for a Healthier America. The “Let’s Move!” campaign of the former First Lady. The campaign was launched in 2010 to educate and encourage children to be active and healthy. Waffles+Mochi, which will continue the effort, will be able reach millions of homes through Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service. Obama and her husband, former President Barack Obama, joined Netflix in 2019 to create shows that addressed “issues like race and class, democracy, civil rights and many other issues.” These efforts are reflected in Waffles+Mochi.
